We decorated 300 bags!

About our project: I am from Advanced Disposal Services and we had paper bags made up to take them to our one of our elementary schools. We had the children color on them with environmental and earth day ideas and then we will take all of these bags to our local Piggly Wiggly on Earth Day. Advanced Disposal Employees will then help bag groceries for the customers.

We decorated 800 bags!

About our project: Wow!! Another great year for Pepin County. These teachers and students are amazing. They are very supportive of this program. The teachers are excited to have their students decorate grocery bags with colorful, enviornmental messages. Shoppers receiving these bags are equally excited and impressed by the students abilities. They can see that these students take great pride with enviornmental concerns.

We decorated 800 bags!

About our project: Wow!! Another great year. The teachers and students go out of their way and are always so cooperative in participating in this project. What a great job they do in promoting environmental messages on their brightly colored & decorated grocery bags. These bags will be used by happy shoppers at Econo Foods in Durand, WI. The people in our community will get a very clear message that the students in our schools really care about their environment.
