As of April 7, 2025, we are no longer accepting reports from participating schools and organizations on the website.

For over 30 years we have published thousands of reports from schools and groups who participated. But times have changed, and we must move on.

However:

We still encourage schools and groups to participate! When you are done, please spread the word! Suggestions:

• Share your story with local media

• Tell your neighbors, friends, and other schools about the project

• Send some pictures of your effort to our Facebook page (and share the page!)

• Send people to our website - http://earthdaybags.org - it will still be here, with "How To" instructions, and thousands of Reports and Pictures as examples and motivation.

And let people know that The Earth Day Groceries Project is still going, and that people all over the world are still decorating grocery bags and giving them out to shoppers on Earth Day!
