We decorated 90 bags!

About our project: We approached our local grocery store, Kyle Grocery, with the idea of the project. They were really excited and happy to participate. Our Gifted & Talented K-5 students decorated 90 bags in a little over an hour. There was much excitement and enthusiasm throughout the room! Everyone was thrilled to have community members taking groceries home in a bag they had decorated.

We decorated 198 bags!

About our project: This is our first year participating in the Earth Day bag project. With bags borrowed from one of our local grocery stores, Kesslers, and the artistic talents of our elementary students in grades 1 - 5, we were able to decorate 198 bags. The students had a great time and many are eager to go shopping tonight to see their art work. Sandy Grebner
