About our project: My students loved this project even as freshmen in high school! I printed off earth day conservation tips and they had to include at least one on every bag. They also decorated the bags. We used one class period and some wanted to do more! We had fun! The employees at Paul's Fruit Market LOVED them!

About our project: Our daisy project for the year was about recycling and we decide to decorate grocery bags about recycling. The Ft. Knox commissary donated the bags but were unable to accept them back due to regulations for health and safety. The Ft. Knox thrift store is all about reusing things that you no longer want. You can donate things there for other families to buy and the money goes to help soldiers families who are less fortunate. This all ties in with recycling. We worked on the project at every meeting and also took some bags home to decorate. We learned a lot about recycling this year.

About our project: Our Kindergarten and First Grade classes worked together to decorate grocery bags for local grocery stores.
