We decorated 109 bags!

About our project: Morristown Elementary School decorated 109 grocery bags donated by Bashas' Supermarket of Wickenburg. We had kindergartens to 8th graders using the Earth Day 2018 theme on their bags. This “earth week” my class learned about the environment; we read many good books like, Ibis A True Whale Story by John Himmelman, The Wump World by Bill Peet, The Wartville Wizard by Don Madden, and Oil Spill! by Melvin Berger.

We decorated 170 bags!

About our project: Thank you to the Sprouts store in Scottsdale Az. Ryan(Store Manager), Katrina and Jason(Assistant store managers) for being so supportive and enthusiastic about the project. Customers loved the bags. They received a lot of positive feedback. My kindergarten students loved putting their "Think Earth" tips on the bags. It was a lifelong lesson for them. They know that just because they are children they can still make a difference to help save our planet. Thank you again!
