About our project: This was our 4th year to team up with a grocery store. It is such a wonderful project. Tomorrow Fry's Foods will be giving them out in Fountain Hills, AZ. I know they are excited too. Fry's Foods thought it was such a wonderful project that they will be coming to our school in May to donate 1000 books along with Discover Books. Happy Earth Day to All!

We decorated 86 bags!

About our project: Morristown Elementary School decorated 86 grocery bags donated by Bashas' Supermarket of Wickenburg. We had kindergartens to 8th graders using the Earth Day 2016 theme on their bags. This “earth week” my class learned about the environment; we read many good books like, Ibis A True Whale Story by John Himmelman, The Wump World by Bill Peet, The Wartville Wizard by Don Madden, and Oil Spill! by Melvin Berger.
