We decorated 300
bags!
About our project: Our Junior Girl Scout Troop 215 of Girl Scouts of Northeast Mississippi used this as a service project. They decorated some bags themselves and took the rest to Saltillo Elementary School to be decorated by participating 3rd-5th graders. After the bags were decorated, they were picked up and taken to a participating Kroger store where they distributed to their customers. The local paper did an article on the project which gave more awareness to Earth Day and ways to participate. The girls enjoyed the project and received a patch for their participation.

We decorated 269
bags!
About our project: We have a small Troop of only 3 girls in Pontotoc Mississippi. Our stores don't much use paper bags anymore so my girls colored fliers to take to the store. Our store choice was the local Piggly Wiggly. We did 269 pictures, and I don't think that my girls want to color anything else for a long while. We had a lot of fun participating in this project. Hope to be able to send in another report next year.

We decorated 210
bags!
About our project: Rienzi Junior troop worked with local Daisy troop 24 on this project. Our troop while educating troop 24 on Earth Day also completed requirements necessary for them to earn their Junior Aide badge. Both troops had a great time with this. We appreciate the e-mail that was sent with the information about this project. We hope to be able to do this again in the futher. Maybe, we can get more troops involved in this event. This was very educational and fun. We're very greatful for are local supermarket who donated us the bags. Thanks alot.
