We decorated 250 bags!

About our project: The students did a wonderful job decorating the bags. They really enjoyed the activity and it was a great project for Earth Week. Our display went up on the 23rd right by the cash registers. We will certainly participate again next year! What a great idea.

We decorated 110 bags!

About our project: Even though some of the children are too young to create complex works of art on the bags, we found that this was a great way to introduce concepts and start conversations about caring for our environment. We also had a recycling project set up for the children to begin identifying materials by sorting into seperate bins. They then learned what happens after garbage and recyclables are picked up.
