We decorated 165 bags!

About our project: I learned of this project from a weekly e-mail I receive from cereal.com. I requested earth day groceries project posters. When they arrived, they were not about nutrition like I had thought, but rather an easy, fun, and free project for our youth. Two local elementary schools, and our child development center were involved in the project. The kids loved decorating the brown paper bags and helping to teach our community about saving the earth. They learned about recycling and why it is important, what items can be recycled in our town, and where the recycle center is located. They also learned about being responsible and not littering and picking up trash.
