We decorated 500
bags!
About our project: Crosby Cougars partnered with Albertsons-Savon #933 to help raise environmental awareness during Earth Day in our community. As part of our annual Earth Day celebration, students decorated 500 bags with various conservation messages. Students also participated in a school wide recycling contest bringing in thousands of plastic items and hundreds of pounds of aluminum cans to be recycled. The campus also shared our Texas Garden dedication and a butterfly release with the local community.

We decorated 500
bags!
About our project: Our school was so excited to participate in this project! We decorated 500 bags and got to deliver them to the grocery store as a class trip. The students enjoyed coming up with different environmental messages and being creative. They also enjoyed seeing the bags being distributed-as some of them went to the store on Earth Day. What a great success!!
