We decorated 177
bags!
About our project: I had never heard of this project before and saw it on the web about 4 days before Earth Day. The next day I called the local Kroger store and asked the manager if Kroger would be willing to do the project with us at Colin Powell Leadership Academy. He said it might take a while to get the bags we need, but he would check and get back with me. He called me back about 2 hours later and said it would be no problem - Kroger would be happy to work with us on the project. It takes great companies like this Kroger to help support our kids and these kids finally got to show the world how important the environment around them was.
