We decorated 900
bags!
About our project: This was the first year for our community to participate in this activity. We targeted it at local schools and local scout groups. The response was excellent and I was pleased at the ease of this activity. I also appreciated the opportunity to sponsor an activity which did not cost anyone anything. We will plan to participate next and involve even more of our community.

About our project: On April 27th 2003 our troops observed Earth Day with alot of fun activities. The girls got the chance to plant a tree and flowers at the Ross County Conservation League. They learned the 3 R's of recycling and got to make paper. They planted seeds in cups and made earth day pins to take home from recycled plastic containers. The girls had the most fun coloring their grocery bags between activities.
