About our project: This is the fifth year students at Briarwood Elementary School have decorated grocery bags for Earth Day. I duplicated a page I found in Copycat, a teacher resource publication, that gives ideas for the designs. Students have been very creative in choosing a medium. Markers, crayons, colored pencils, construction paper, and cut out pictures from magazines have been used. This is the first year that Briarwood has decorated this many bags.

About our project: Our school has a community service club that meets weekly after school. We have done many community service projects, including this Earth Day Grocery Bag project!
