We decorated 133
bags!
About our project: This year our Family Math & Science program partnered with the school's art classes to decorate grocery bags for our base commissary. In addition, during our monthly program, parents and kids had an opportunity to decorate more bags as well as make "smog" clean up an "oil spill" and build a bird's nest.

We decorated 100
bags!
About our project: The school that I am working at is lucky enough to be right across the street from a grocery store. Many of the students' families shop at this store. Everyone was very excited about the project and I got lots of reports back about families who got an "Asbury" bag. I love how this project is a way for students to get the word out to the community

We decorated 300
bags!
About our project: This was our first year to participate in the Earth Day Bags Project. Hopefully, next year we will have more participation from more teachers and kids. We really enjoyed decorating the bags and the kids learned a lot about Earth Day and the environment! Thanks for the idea!!
