We decorated 325 bags!

About our project: I took this opportunity to discuss with students environmental issues and why we celebrate Earth Day. Every class that came to library, grades kindergarten through fifth, had the task of decorating a grocery bag. It was enjoyed by alll. I had the manager of the grocery store and the local newspaper come and take a photo of several students holding their bag and the stack of bags that were to be given back to the store.
