We decorated 310
bags!
About our project: I found your website and brought the idea to the school on Monday the 17th. The staff liked the idea and the Atlantic Superstore was willing to give us the bags. In NB, very few stores use paper grocery bags, but they have smaller paper bags for frozen foods and breakables. We had to have them back to the store by Thursday night since they are closed on Good Friday. Everyone got in the spirit of things and had great discussions about Earth Day - your information was super. On Saturday, the store quickly ran out of the "Earth Day" bags and had requests for them. Everyone liked the idea of us using paper that will be used anyway! Next year, we're going to try to get other local schools involved. Great idea and great fun!
