We decorated 80
bags!
About our project: We didn't hear about the earthday bags project until our plans for our event, April 29, were well underway. During our event, we had a place for children to decorate the bags, and then we took them back to the stores. We used a software program that allowed us to pre-print designs as "coloring books" for the children to color when they visited our table. By far it was one of the most successful. Our Earthday event was a community effort, with all kinds of displays, clean up projects, and involvement from the Springerville Lions and Rotary Clubs.

The Children are all very excited about the project and can't wait to visit Basha's on Earth Day to see who's bag they will recieve.
