We decorated 60 bags!

About our project: This is the first time ever we decided to involve in this project. We were very enthusiastic about it, so we are happy to share our work on bags with all of you, all of the countries. The whole thing started with one student`s mom Bojana. She read an article about the The Earth Day Groceries Project in the Enter magazine. She discussed the whole thing with her son`s teacher Josipa. The two of them decided to include the IV a class, from an island Mali Losinj, Croatia, in this project. The teacher Josipa asked for some paper grocery bags in 2 of the Losinj`s grocery stores and she got 20 paper grocery bags in each of the stores. The class IV a had a great time painting the bags. The informatics teacher, Eva, helped the children and their teacher to send the pictures on this web-site, and English teacher, Izabel helped in translating our story. The painted paper bags will be returned to the stores. On April 22nd, the inhabitants of our wonderful island of Losinj will carry their groceries in those beatifully painted bags.
