We decorated 300
bags!
About our project: The children of Sembach Elementary School are the dependents of Air Force and Army service members. They live in on or near Sembach Air Force Base in central Germany. In Germany it is mandatory to recycle most waste products and the children are aware of how to recycle but do not always have an understanding of the importance of recycling. We had some great discussions prior to decorating our bags and I think they have a better appreciation for the project. They are very proud of their bags and are anxious to get the word out to the community.
