About our project: This is the third year the boys and girls at Laurier Annex have participated in the Earth Day Bags Project! This year we decorated 253 bags!!! Not bad for a school with only 127 students (Kindergarten to Grade 4)...The bags were decorated with "Happy Earth Day" messages and distributed to customers at Choices Grocery Store on West 57th in Vancouver. Once again, a special thank you to Choices for helping us raise environmental awareness in our community! This is a great project to empower children to make a difference in their world!

About our project: This is our 4th or 5th year now working with this store. This was part of our celebration. We love it because it is a way to celebrate that is not weather-dependant, a good thing in Vancouver.
