We decorated 505
bags!
About our project: Students at G. R. Taylor Elementary School decorated 505 grocery bags for Earth Day this year. We passed our goal of 500! During students’ regular library visits from April 9-20, students decorated grocery bags with positive environmental messages. Students also read books about environmental awareness and studied ways to keep the earth clean. These bags were then returned to Cranford’s Fresh World in White Hall for distribution to shoppers on Earth Day, April 22. All of our kindergarten through sixth grade students participate and we look forward to this very special project every year!
