For the eleventh year, Elementary School Ivan Goran Kovacic from Slavonski Brod, Croatia/EU has been participating in the Earth Day Groceries Project. About our project: Dear Glocal (Global and Local friends), we are very happy and proud to inform You that we finished successfully a fourth year participation in The Earth Day Groceries Project! We borrowed 250 bags from the shop Boso, 250 pupils passionately decorated them, wrote the messages and finally we delivered them back to the shop. Till next Year, all the best! Teacher Vesna

About our project: Nineteen students and three teachers decided to join the project. We gathered some information about the project, talked to the owner of the local store, who provided the bags, and that was it. On Saturday, the 21st, we decorated cca 100 bags, and returned them to the store. On Sunday, the 22nd, we took some photos of customers using the bags. Students and their teachers were very satisfied and happy because the project was a huge success. About our project: Dear friends, this was our second year project in collaboration with Earth Day Groceries Project. There were 85 students creatively involved and 210 paper bags decorated. Students were dressed in green T-shirts with the "brain-tree" pictures and slogan "Think Green"! They have enjoyed the success with the project, they put the photos at the school web page after having a snack at the groceries shop and happily finalizing this year project.
