Pictures from 1998 West Kingston Elementary in W. Kingston, RI

Greetings from W. Kingston, RI! This is our first year as participants in the Earth Day Groceries Project. The students decorated over 400 bags donated by Shaw's Supermarket in Wakefield, RI. The local newspaper's advertised the event and the community response was wonderful. As you can tell by the pictures, the students thoroughly enjoyed the activity. Many of them went shopping on Earth Day with their parents to get one of the bags. We look forward to doing it again next year.
