Student's at AB Hart Middle School, located at 3901 E. 74th Street in Cleveland, Ohio participated in the Earth Day Groceries Project to help educate the public on the event.

The local Finast market donated bags to decorate, and Terry, the stores manager, displayed the finished art work around the store the week prior to Earth Day. They were then taken down and distributed to customers the week of the celebration.

The project was taken on in science classrooms, as well as in several art classes. Student's also viewed a video on recycling and read about recycling and the difficulties of this industry. Some alternative ideas were discussed, mentioning ways to further reduce consumer waste.

This was a very enjoyable and educational experience.
