Team D sixth graders at
Dorseyville Middle School of the Fox Chapel Area School District in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania took great pride in celebrating Earth Day. The students created
community awareness by decorating 52 grocery bags. Their messages of concern
were beautifully designed by using various art media. These were then put
on display in the hallway to share with other students. Photos of the children
working in their science classes on this Earth Day project and some of
their finished designs are included.
