Four classrooms including
second, third and fourth graders decorated grocery bags which were returned
to Wellspring Grocery in Raleigh. Children also read the archives on the
earthdaybags.org site, referred to your Earth Day slogans for decorating
the bags and read about the many different suggested uses for paper bags.
Root's science teacher organized a Forest Festival for April 23 and decorating
the bags was a wonderful addition to the science events.
