Students from both Mrs. McMillan’s 2^nd grade class & Ms. Mazin’s 3^rd grade class enjoyed sharing in the 2006 Earth Day Grocery Bag Project. Together our students decorated approximately 45 bags. The bags were distributed on Earth Day at Norman Brother's Produce. Our 2006 Earth Day activities included: Keeping an Earth Day report card, decorating Norman Brother's Produce grocery bags, designing a banner for the store, and creating original "Trash Sculptures".  The students discovered many ways to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.  Happy Earth Day 2006 from 2^nd & 3^rd graders at Assurant Satellite Learning Center!!!
